Hearts returned to the Scottish Premiership in 2015/16 and immediately showed they belonged back at the top level, finishing third in the league under Robbie Neilson. Juanma led the scoring with 13 goals in all competitions, while players such as Jamie Walker, Callum Paterson and Arnaud Djoum helped Hearts put together an impressive first season back in the division. A 4–3 opening-day win over St Johnstone was an early sign of what was to come.

The Puma away shirt has a crisp white body with Hearts' maroon worked into the sleeves and trim. The most noticeable feature is the pair of maroon stripes running along the shoulders and sleeves, while the red detailing around the V-neck gives the collar a little extra character. The Hearts badge and Puma logo sit on the chest, with the Save the Children logo across the front — a particularly distinctive sponsorship arrangement from this period.

This 2015/16 Heart of Midlothian away shirt in Large comes from a significant season for the club, marking their first year back in the Premiership after promotion. Its simple white and maroon colour scheme makes it an easy shirt to recognise, while the Save the Children sponsorship adds an interesting piece of history to what was also the beginning of Hearts' Puma era.
