The FC St. Pauli 2009/10 home shirt comes from one of the most memorable seasons in the club’s modern history. Under manager Holger Stanislawski, St. Pauli finished second in the 2. Bundesliga, securing promotion back to the Bundesliga. The side played an attacking brand of football, scoring 72 league goals, while a famous 6–1 home victory over TuS Koblenz became one of the season’s standout results.
Leading the charge was striker Marius Ebbers, who scored an impressive 20 league goals, while Matthias Lehmann, Florian Bruns and Rouwen Hennings were also important figures in the promotion-winning side. The season was particularly significant for St. Pauli, marking their return to Germany’s top flight for the first time since 2001/02 and adding another chapter to the unique history of the cult Hamburg club.
The shirt itself has the unmistakable St. Pauli aesthetic, built around the club’s traditional dark brown colour with contrasting details and the Do You Football branding. The front carried DACIA as the main sponsor, with the St. Pauli crest prominently positioned on the chest, while the accompanying brown shorts and striped socks completed the classic look. Offered here in size Large, it is a particularly evocative shirt from the campaign that saw the Kiezkicker return to the Bundesliga.
